Q. What time does your box office open?
A. Generally, it opens at 5pm on show nights.
Q. Can I rent the Knitting Factory Concert House?
A. Rentals are available to outside promoters or for private functions. We have full service catering available at some of Boise’s most competitive pricing. Please contact Gary Pike at (208) 343-8883 ext 103 or email@example.com.
Q. Are concerts all ages?
A. Yes, most shows are all ages unless otherwise noted.
Q. How do I get access to the Annual Members seating area and lounge?
A. Annual passes include admission for two to every show at the Knitting Factory Concert House as well as pre-sale opportunities and occasional comps for other Knitting Factory Entertainment events. Click here to request information. Additionally, Annual Memebers have a private balcony and lounge and receive first entry to the venue.
Q. Is smoking allowed?
A. There is no smoking allowed in the venue. There is a smoking patio available during all shows. Under Boise ordinance, our outdoor smoking patio is reserved for guests over the age of 21.
Q. Can I bring my camera?
A. Generally we do not allow cameras nor audio or video equipment of any kind into the club.
Q. Can I leave in the middle of the show and then come back in?
A. No. We strictly enforce a no re-entry policy except at private parties.
Q. Can I reserve a seat?
A. All seating is on a first come, first served basis. The amount of seating on any given show depends on the artist and the expected attendance. If you purchase the Platinum Skybox or Balcony Seating, the available seats are reserved for your group for the entire evening.
Q. Do you have handicap accessibility?
A. Absolutely. We are happy to make special arrangements for you when you contact us in advance and then arrive at the venue 30 minutes prior to doors. We will offer you one of the premium seats in the house. Click here to contact us in advance.
Q. What do I need to pick up my tickets at the box office?
A. If you purchased your tickets through www.TicketWeb.com, you must bring the credit card they were purchased with. If you are on a guest list you must have valid ID.
Q. How do I reserve the entire Platinum Skybox ?
A. The Platinum Skybox is available for most shows and includes entry for up to 24 guests. See www.TicketWeb.com for individual seat pricing or contact Gary Pike at (208) 343-8883 ext 103 for more info.
Q. If I line up at the front door early, will I be the first one into the show?
A. Not necessarily. We may admit guests with special needs who contacted us in advance. We then admit our Annual Members followed by the first 50 patrons who dined in the Alterknit Lounge before the show. We then open the main doors to the club.
Q. What is the difference between General Admission, VIP and Skybox seating?
A. General Admission
General Admission is the majority of our venue. This ticket level gives you access to both the upstairs and downstairs areas of the venue, and the main floor. There is no assigned seating in this area. If we have seating for the event, all seats in this area are first come, first served. If we do not have seating for the event, this area will be standing room only. This is an “all ages” area, so unless the event is limited to persons over 18, all ages are welcome in this area.
The Platinum Skybox area our premium seating areas. Seats are reserved at the time of purchase. There are 6 tables in the Skybox, numbered 1 thru 6. Each table has 4 seats. Seats are sold individually and tables will be shared by all ticket holders whom purchased a seat at that table. This area has the best view of the stage, directly next to our sound booth. This ticket level gives you access to all of the General Admission area, as well as the Platinum Skybox. This is an “all ages” area, so unless the event is limited to persons over 18, all ages are welcome in this area. There is a cocktail server assigned to the Platinum Skybox, so you do not have to leave your seat.
Balcony area is our reserved seating area. Seats are reserved at the time of purchase. There are 18 tables in the Balcony section, numbered 1 thru 18. Tables 1-12 have 4 seats each. Tables 13-18 have 2 seats each. Seats are sold individually and tables will be shared by all ticket holders whom purchased a seat at that table. This ticket level gives you access to all of the General Admission area, as well as the Balcony seating. This is an “all ages” area, so unless the event is limited to persons over 18, all ages are welcome in this area. There is a cocktail server assigned to the Balcony, so you do not have to leave your seat.
